Excellent

“There are things you can measure, like with TrackMan, and things you can prepare for,” Nordqvist says, “but if it were all about preparation and measurement, there would be many great golfers. Sometimes the situation is not one you could have prepared for. You’ve got to figure it out, and the experience with the horses told me I can do that. It comes back to me sometimes on the golf course. I go, ‘Hey, you had no idea what to do then, and you figured it out. You can do this.”

Highly Recommended

“I learned to overcome distractions and refocus my attention prior to shooting. I re-learned the skill of transferring my focus from conscious to subconscious.”

Outstanding feedback

“This is the best description of me I have ever read. Couldn’t have described it better myself and there are many, “yes, that’s me!” moments when I read this. Spot On!”

Valuable

We spent some valuable (and necessary) time on the sporting-clays course, and then Debbie and Judi took me outside my comfort zone with their “Better Your Best” (BYB) workshop. BYB included a horse, putting a golf ball, archery, darts, virtual reality (VR), and more. BYB had nothing and everything to do with sporting clays. It was perfect for where I am in my evolution. BYB required using mental skills for unfamiliar tasks, so it revealed strengths AND weaknesses. When we were done, I was ready to take my game to the next level…and the next!

If you are serious about being the best competitor or, more importantly, the best human being you can be, you owe it to yourself to spend time with Debbie and Judi. They can help us all better our best!

IN SEPTEMBER, HAGERTY met with a woman named Debbie Crews. She studies the brain. Most of her research focused on golf, another sport with cases of the yips. She wanted to test her neurofeedback system on baseball players, and a number of people recommended Hagerty because of how he embraced data.
